The work

What we are celebrating, specifically.

  • Assembled and tested early Apple I and Apple II machines and spent years debugging Apple II circuit boards.
  • Built prototypes for the Apple III and the Macintosh; his signature is embossed inside early production Mac cases.

Apple

Early engineer

Among Apple's first employees from 1977; a college friend of Steve Jobs from Reed College.

Why

Why we celebrate them.

You were beside Steve from Reed College to the workbench, soldering the first machines by hand. Thank you for the quiet, careful work at the start.
