Published pay band

Staff / Lead / Principal — $200k - $280k

An indicative, market-aligned range, not an offer. The compensation page has the full picture for your level and market.

Minimum requirements

  • ▸You have written a specification other engineers implemented from — an RFC, a standards draft, or a protocol other teams shipped against
  • ▸Deep care for the difference between what a spec says and what an implementation happens to do; you close that gap in writing
  • ▸Comfortable with cryptographic primitives, capability tokens, and threat modelling — enough to know which parts must never be a novel implementation

What winning looks like

  • ▸Independent implementations that pass conformance without our help
  • ▸Ambiguities found and closed before they reach an implementer
  • ▸Spec and shipped code stay aligned — drift caught in review, not in the field
