hussh is a public-benefit, open-source project, funded 100% today by one American citizen, as R&D given to America for free.
What we make first is Agent One, a personal AI agent. It only sees what you choose to connect, and it works for you, not for advertisers. It's free for every American.
The asymmetry was not a bug. It was the business model.
Why it started
In 2021, our founder, Manish Sainani, had his identity stolen. Someone had his Social Security number, his driver's license and enough access to his bank to move money. No bank, credit bureau or app told him until the damage was done.
He had spent twenty years building AI products at Google, Microsoft and Splunk. He knew how much those systems knew about people, and how little they owed them.
So the company set out to build the other kind of agent: one that belongs to the person using it, asks before anyone gets at their information, and can show them afterwards what was shared.

Relaunched in public as hussh.

Published the consent protocol. PCHP, the rules for how agents ask permission and keep receipts, is out as RFC-001 for anyone to read and pick apart. It's a published spec, not an approved standard.

Described the three products in public. Agent One, Puppy One and Tag One. Puppy One opened for refundable reservations; a reservation isn't a purchase or a delivery date.
